The Indianapolis Newspaper Guild invites duespaying members and their families to enjoy a day at the ballpark on Sunday, Aug. 21, when the Indianapolis Indians take on the Leigh Valley Iron Pigs (the Pigs’ manager is former Cubs 2nd baseman Ryne Sandberg!). The guild will buy tickets for members and their family. Everyone who attends also gets $10 in “Baseball Bucks” to spend at the park. The game starts at 2 p.m.; gates open at 12:30 p.m. Arrive Early: The first 2,500 fans get a souvenir slippers.
